Greene County sophomore McKinley Robbins brought home the Class 2A State Championship medal at 120 pounds on Saturday.
After finishing second at 106 pounds as a freshman, Robbins achieved his goal of a state title this year. It wasn’t easy as his matches were close, including one overtime decision. He finishes this season with a perfect 34-0 record.
Robbins is just the fourth Ram wrestler in school history to win a state championship.
